Computer Applications
This module introduces students to Computer Generated 3 Dimensional drawings. Students will be encouraged to carry out self research in regards to 3D modeling software such as 3DS Max and Revit Architecture.
PROJECT 1A
For this project, students were tasked with producing a Revit model of the selected architecture using Architectural Components such as Wall, Roof, Stairs, Floor, Curtain Wall, Doors, and Windows. At the end of the project, the model shall be used to generate documentation drawings, using Revit Architecture's Documentation Components such as Sheets, Titleblock, Sections, Room Tags, Schedule & etc.
The Requirements of the Project:
1. Compliance with LOD 200 requirements
2. TWO Revit Family components.
3. WIP
Project 1B
Documentation of Revit model from Project 1A.
The Requirements of the Project:
1. Plans
2. Elevations
3. 2 Sections
4. 2 Callouts on sections
5. 1 Exploded isometric
6. 1 Room schedule showing area tabulation
7. WIP
Project 2
Exterior and Interior Renderings
This project involves the production of photorealistic renderings using 3DS Max of the selected architecture design.
Requirements:
1. 3DS Max file with materials textures to TIMeS.
2. Upload final renderings to WIP website
3. Upload WIP
